Projects Update for March 2024!

Hey, everyone! As we start heading into spring, I'd like to recap some important developments from last year and get you up to speed on what's coming down the pipe!

First and foremost, the prequel to my Gray Spirits urban fantasy series, Prelude of a Guardian Angel, is out and available for free to all newsletter subscribers! The story picks up about eight years before the start of Memoirs of a Household Demon and centers on the angel Sarai. Having shed her elderly and decrepit mortal body, Sarai has now sworn to protect her teenage granddaughter, Daniela, from the demonic forces of Hell invisibly ravaging the human world. As Daniela begins her senior year of high school, new enemies and temptations lie in wait, threatening to sever the bond between Sarai and her granddaughter. Will Sarai be able to protect Daniela's soul, or will she be lost to the darkness forever?

If you like stories with action, humor and plenty of heart, don't miss your chance to give this a read! To sign up for the newsletter and get your hands on this free eBook, simply click the subscription box on the left side of the page and enter your email. Once you do, be sure to check your inbox for the confirmation email and click "accept." If you've already signed up and can't seem to find the download, be sure to check your junk mail in case it was automatically misfiled.

In other news, Memoirs of a Household Demon is on the move! The manuscript went through another round of beta readers this last fall and has been sharpened to a fine luster. It was entered in the Paranormal Fiction category of the Realm Makers Aurora Writing Contest and made it all the way to the finals, scoring in the top five of its category! In addition, I've entered it in this year's Reader's Favorite Contest and hope to see it find similar success.

A brand-spanking-new short story is coming soon as well, and to be honest, I'm really excited about it. It's an epic fantasy about a young girl who accompanies her father on a hunting trip through a forbidden mystical forest. Needless to say, suspense and shenanigans ensue. Keep your eyes peeled for when I release The Scales That Bind Us.

As for my upcoming military sci-fi novel, Prodigal Seed: Indigo 03, the manuscript is currently being reviewed by beta readers and the initial reactions have been very encouraging. Once their feedback has been collected and applied, I'll begin submitting it to literary agents and publishers. This particular book has been about six years in the making, but the final result is shaping up to be well worth the wait. Any fans of Orson Scott Card's Enders Game or James Rosone's Into the Stars will love the intense action and survivalist themes of Prodigal Seed

Welp, until next time, wishing you all the best and feel free to reach out in the comments if you have any thoughts or questions you like to share!
